Diamond saw blades

Diamond saw blades are built for efficient and precise cutting of concrete, stone, tile, ceramic, granite, and other hard materials. Manufactured with high-quality diamond segments and a durable steel core, they provide fast cutting speed, smooth performance, and long service life. The optimized blade design helps reduce vibration and improve heat dissipation during operation, ensuring stable cutting results. Suitable for construction, stone processing, road work, and industrial applications, these Diamond saw blades are ideal for contractors, distributors, and bulk supply projects.

Diamond saw blades cut the hardest materials on the job site: concrete, reinforced concrete, asphalt, granite, marble, ceramic, tile, and stone. A hardened steel core carries diamond-impregnated segments that grind through material rather than cutting it. The segments use industrial-grade synthetic diamond grit bonded in a metal matrix that wears at a controlled rate, continuously exposing fresh diamond edges. Yuanhe diamond saw blades come in segmented, turbo, and continuous rim types for wet and dry cutting from 100mm to 900mm diameter.

Turbo Serrated continuous rim Medium to fine Granite, hard stone, general masonry
Continuous Rim Smooth, uninterrupted rim Fine to ultra-fine Ceramic tile, marble, porcelain, glass

Bond Hardness Rule

Soft bond for hard materials (granite, engineering brick): the bond wears faster, exposing fresh diamond. Hard bond for soft materials (asphalt, green concrete, limestone): the bond wears slower so the blade lasts longer. Using the wrong bond either glazes the blade (bond too hard for material) or wears it out prematurely (bond too soft for material).

Key Features

1. High-Quality Diamond Segments

Industrial-grade synthetic diamond grit is evenly distributed in a metal bond matrix. The controlled bond wear rate continuously exposes sharp diamond edges for consistent cutting speed throughout blade life. Segments are firmly bonded to the steel core to prevent segment loss during heavy-duty operation.

2. Optimized Heat Dissipation

Segmented blades use the gaps between segments for airflow and debris clearance. Turbo blades use serrated rims to channel air and water through the cut zone. Both designs lower cutting temperature, reduce blade warping, and extend segment life during continuous operation.

3. Vibration Reduction

Laser-cut expansion slots and a precision-ground steel core reduce vibration during cutting. Lower vibration improves cut accuracy, reduces operator fatigue, and prevents micro-cracking in the segment bond. The core undergoes tensioning to maintain flatness at operating RPM.

4. Wet and Dry Cutting Capability

All diamond saw blades support both wet and dry cutting. Wet cutting uses water to cool the blade and suppress dust, extending blade life and improving cut quality on hard materials. Dry cutting is suitable for handheld saws and jobsites without water access. Continuous rim blades for tile and ceramic typically run wet for the best finish.

5. Consistent Quality Control

Every diamond saw blade passes tension testing, bore concentricity measurement, and segment bond strength verification before shipping. Batch consistency ensures the 500th blade cuts the same as the first. Yuanhe supplies diamond saw blades to construction contractors, stone processors, and industrial distributors worldwide.

FAQ

What is the difference between segmented, turbo, and continuous rim diamond blades? +
Segmented blades have gaps between diamond segments for airflow and debris clearance. They cut fastest and work on concrete, asphalt, and brick. Turbo blades have a serrated continuous rim that balances speed with a smoother finish on granite and hard stone. Continuous rim blades have a smooth, uninterrupted diamond edge for the finest cuts on ceramic tile, porcelain, and marble.
Should I cut wet or dry with diamond saw blades? +
Wet cutting extends blade life, suppresses dust, and produces better cut quality on hard, dense materials like granite and porcelain. Use wet cutting when water access is available. Dry cutting works for handheld saws, outdoor jobs, and materials like asphalt. Segmented blades handle dry cutting best because the gaps dissipate heat. Continuous rim blades should almost always run wet.
Why does bond hardness matter for diamond blades? +
The metal bond holds diamond grit in place. A soft bond wears faster, exposing fresh diamond more quickly. Use soft bonds on hard materials like granite and porcelain. A hard bond wears slower. Use hard bonds on soft, abrasive materials like asphalt and green concrete. Wrong bond selection causes either glazing (no cutting, blade overheats) or rapid wear (blade life too short).
How long do diamond saw blades last? +
Blade life depends on material, bond hardness, and cutting conditions. A segmented blade cutting cured concrete with correct bond typically lasts 50 to 200 linear meters per millimeter of segment height. A 10mm segment height gives 500 to 2,000 linear meters of cutting. Hard, abrasive materials consume segments faster. Wet cutting typically extends life 20% to 40% compared to dry cutting.
Can diamond blades cut reinforced concrete with rebar? +
Yes. Use segmented diamond saw blades with a medium-hard bond designed for reinforced concrete. The diamond segments cut through both the concrete matrix and embedded steel rebar. Running wet reduces heat when the blade contacts steel. Expect 15% to 30% faster segment wear compared to cutting non-reinforced concrete because steel is tougher on diamond grit.
Can Yuanhe supply custom diamond saw blades for specific materials? +
Yes. Yuanhe manufactures diamond saw blades with custom diameters, segment heights, bond formulations, and bore sizes. Specify your material (concrete type, stone variety, aggregate hardness) and cutting conditions. Our engineers select the optimal diamond grit, bond hardness, and segment design for your application.
