Bond Hardness Rule
Soft bond for hard materials (granite, engineering brick): the bond wears faster, exposing fresh diamond. Hard bond for soft materials (asphalt, green concrete, limestone): the bond wears slower so the blade lasts longer. Using the wrong bond either glazes the blade (bond too hard for material) or wears it out prematurely (bond too soft for material).
