6807 Deep Groove Ball Bearing 35x47x7mm

The 6807 bearing is the thinnest-section standard deep groove ball bearing for a 35mm shaft: 47mm OD with only 6mm radial ring cross-section and 7mm width. Three seal configurations share 4.75 kN dynamic and 3.55 kN static capacity from a GCr15 chrome steel platform. ABEC-3 standard.

Key Specifications

  • Sealing: Open, ZZ (SPCC metal shields), and 2RS (NBR contact seals). Open reaches 12,000 RPM. ZZ retains full speed. 2RS limits to ~9,600 RPM due to contact seal friction at the 35mm bore scale.
  • Load: 4.75 kN dynamic (Cr), 3.55 kN static (Cor). This is the load rating for a 6mm ring cross-section. A 6007 bearing at the same 35mm bore carries 16.0 kN dynamic but requires a 62mm housing bore.
  • Speed: 12,000 RPM in Open configuration with polyurea grease. The thin ring section reduces rotating mass, keeping ball centrifugal loads manageable at this speed despite the 35mm bore.
  • Temperature: -20C to 120C with standard polyurea grease. Ester-based grease extends to 150C. The thin ring section reaches thermal equilibrium faster than standard-section bearings of the same bore.
  • Material: GCr15 chrome steel rings and balls. 440C stainless steel for corrosion-prone installations. Hybrid ceramic (Si3N4 balls) for electrical insulation in motor applications.

Sealing and Lubrication

The 6807 Open bearing delivers 12,000 RPM and accepts oil-mist lubrication directly through the exposed ball path. Specified for gearboxes, oil-bath pump housings, and motor end bells where the enclosure provides the contamination barrier. Open configuration enables in-situ re-greasing for machinery with scheduled maintenance intervals.

The 6807 ZZ bearing uses SPCC steel shields with a non-contact labyrinth gap. Full 12,000 RPM capability with factory-filled polyurea grease. The shields block coarse particles and splashes. Default choice for enclosed fan motors, belt tensioners, and power transmission where the bearing operates in a clean housing.

The 6807 2RS bearing uses NBR rubber contact seals for positive exclusion of fine dust, moisture, and direct spray. Speed reduces to ~9,600 RPM due to seal lip friction. Specified for agricultural equipment, outdoor conveyor rollers, and washdown environments where the bearing sees direct water exposure.

Performance

At 4.75 kN dynamic load, the 6807 bearing carries a 35mm shaft in a 47mm housing envelope. The 6007 bearing also fits a 35mm shaft but needs a 62mm housing bore and carries 16.0 kN; more than triple the load for a 15mm larger OD. The 6907 bearing offers a middle ground: 35x55x10mm and 10.4 kN dynamic. If the housing bore is fixed at 47mm, the 6807 bearing is the only standard deep groove option for a 35mm shaft. The 7mm width keeps the axial envelope compact for paired mounting in gearboxes and narrow housings.

ABEC-3 radial runout of 0.015mm is standard. The thin ring section requires attention to housing roundness; an out-of-round housing bore transfers directly to increased running noise and reduced fatigue life. For 35mm shafts at 12,000 RPM, specify the housing bore to H6 tolerance with a circularity within 0.010mm.

OEM and Customization

Clearance: C2 for precision spindles and low-noise medical equipment. C3 (standard). C4 for high-temperature motor housings where differential expansion closes the running clearance
Grease: Low-noise polyurea (3-5 dB reduction). Ester-based for 150C continuous. NSF H1 food-grade for processing equipment
Cage: Pressed steel (standard). Glass-reinforced polyamide for reduced weight and torque. Brass machined for vibration above 5g
Material: 440C stainless steel for wet or outdoor service. Hybrid ceramic (Si3N4 balls) for electrical insulation and speeds above 14,000 RPM

MOQ for modified clearance or custom grease starts at 500 pcs. Submit your bearing drawing for a quote with lead time and batch inspection terms.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does the 6807 bearing compare to a 6007 bearing? +
Both fit a 35mm shaft. The 6807 bearing measures 35x47x7mm with 4.75 kN dynamic load. The 6007 bearing measures 35x62x14mm with 16.0 kN dynamic load. The 6007 bearing has a 15mm larger OD and double the width. If the housing bore is fixed at 47mm, the 6807 bearing is the only standard deep groove option. If the housing can accept a 62mm bore and the load requires it, choose the 6007 bearing. Contact us with your envelope constraints.
What is the difference between a 6807 bearing and a 6907 bearing? +
The 6907 bearing measures 35x55x10mm and carries 10.4 kN dynamic load; roughly double the 6807 bearing capacity. The 6907 bearing ring cross-section is 10mm versus 6mm for the 6807 bearing. The 6907 bearing requires an 8mm larger housing bore than the 6807 bearing. Choose the 6807 bearing when 47mm OD is a hard constraint. Choose the 6907 bearing when the load exceeds 4.75 kN.
What housing tolerances does a 6807 bearing require? +
For standard motor applications with a 35mm shaft: shaft seat j5 (35 +0.006/-0.005mm), housing bore H6 (47 +0.016/0mm). The thin ring section makes the 6807 bearing more sensitive to housing out-of-round than standard-section bearings. Verify housing circularity within 0.012mm and squareness of the shoulder face within 0.010mm across the bearing seat. For higher-speed applications above 10,000 RPM, tighten the shaft to h5 tolerance.
When should I use a 6807 2RS bearing instead of 6807 ZZ bearing? +
Choose 6807 ZZ bearing for enclosed environments where the bearing sees occasional splash or oil mist. The non-contact shields add no friction and retain the full 12,000 RPM speed. Choose 6807 2RS bearing for outdoor or washdown environments where the bearing faces direct water spray, fine dust, or abrasive grit. The rubber contact seals reduce speed to ~9,600 RPM but provide a positive contamination barrier.
